Krótko czy długoplanowo

Z jednej strony myślę: korzystam z chwili. Popijam pinakoladę po siedmiu(!) jednostkach insuliny i delektuję się burgerem ze świeżej wołowiny.

Z drugiej strony żałuję każdego za dużego deseru, na który się skusiłam. Po co mi te dodatkowe insulinowe strzały w brzuch i obawa o wątrobę? Lubię przedpłaty, więc zwykle najpierw przydzielam sobie nagrodę, a potem zadanie. Całkowicie niewychowawcze. Nie motywujące. 

Mam żyć chwilą, czy nie? 

Święty Paweł pisze: „Wszystko mi wolno, ale nie wszystko przynosi korzyść.” Mądrala. 

A jednak ma rację. W przełożeniu na język cukrzyka – trzy kawałki pysznego sernika, mimo wstępnej niskiej glikemii i dwóch jednostek insuliny – po 4 godzinach wykres glukozy na ponad 300 mg/dl potwierdza powyższe cytat z Pisma Świętego. 😄

Gdy nie zamienię kalorii w ruch, przynajmniej w marsz lub fizyczną pracę, to szum w głowie daje znać, że nie do końca to życie chwilą jest opłacalne. Zauważyłam na sobie, że gdy nabieram sił po chorobie lub upadku, sprawdza mi się taki schemat:

My, ludzie, jesteśmy optymistami. Mój Szef kiedyś powiedział, że gdyby ludzie naprawdę mieli zrozumienie, że umrą, to by wcale nie chcieli żyć. Codziennie wstajemy, myślimy o przyszłości naszych dzieci, marzymy o wakacjach, chcemy pokoju na świecie. Ba! Nawet nasze zmartwienia są zazwyczaj umieszczone w przyszłości. Jakbyśmy nie czuli, że mamy tylko dzisiaj do przeżycia. Wczoraj już było, a jutro owszem, należy planować i to w jak najdłuższej perspektywie. Ale jutro to nadal wytwór wyobraźni, jak mawiają w totalnej biologii. 

Psychoonkolodzy zalecają, by pacjenci onkologiczni pisali własnoręcznie plany na przynajmniej dwa lata do przodu. 

– Panie doktorze, przecież ja nie wiem, czy dożyję kolejnego roku! – woła wielu rakowców. 

– Proszę spróbuj i potem porównaj to do co tej pory było w myślach z tym, co napiszesz. –  cierpliwie mówi lekarz. – A jeśli nie chcesz pisać, to narysuj. Choćby symbole – oby to były własnoręczne bazgroły.

Pisanie zaleca wiele osób, trenerów, psychologów. Mam plany w głowie, powiesz. Jeśli masz się dobrze, sprawdź się proszę. Jeśli dotknęła Cię choroba, tym bardziej pisz. Zadaj sobie pytania –  albo nie – poproś przyjaciela, żeby Ci je zadał – i pisemnie na nie odpowiedz. Przekonasz się, jak Twój mózg uruchomi się inaczej i o ile łatwiej realizujesz swoje plany.  

Jak mówi Maciek Wieczorek „weź kartkę i długopis i napisz.” 😂
